Amidst an air of grandeur and significance, the Deeper Christian Life Ministry commemorated its 50th anniversary of inception and unwavering commitment to upholding the faith. This remarkable event brought together pastors from diverse corners of the globe, culminating in the conclusion of its Global Leadership and Strategic Congress.
The anniversary was held on Sunday, the 13th of August at the Church’s international headquarters, Gbagada, Lagos. There was also the unveiling of the Deeper Life Study Bible and the book titled “Deeper Life: The Pursuit of Heaven’s Goal”.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelIt also featured the unveiling of a 50th-anniversary logo plaque on behalf of the DCLM Worldwide, another anniversary plaque on behalf of pastors and leaders in the church, and goodwill messages from representatives across the world.
The Church was filled up with congregants and also connections through online platforms from different parts of the world. Besides the singing and praising of God, the anniversary was celebrated with different activities that the attendees will not forget in a hurry.
During the global 50th-anniversary celebration service, emphasis was laid on how the denomination, which started in 1973 with a bible study of 15 members at Kumuyi’s official residence in Flat 2, Faculty of Education Campus, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos has risen to about 5.3 million people across 150 countries.

Speaking during the celebration service, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christain Life Ministry, Pastor W.F Kumuyi in his message titled “ Marching Forward with Fresh Vision into the Future Destiny’, charged pastors of the church and members to have a new commitment, consecration and devotion.
He said, “We come with a new commitment, we come with a new consecration, we come with a new devotion with all our minds and with all the dedication the Lord demands from us, and we come in a new demonstration of deep deeper love IN Jesus Name.”
