Despite the immense grief he carries in his heart, he expressed gratitude to God for giving him the strength to endure such trying times. “Difficult Father’s Day for me…. But I thank God for strength,” he wrote.

This year marks Davido’s first Father’s Day without Ifeanyi. The young boy tragically lost his life in a drowning accident at Davido’s Banana Island mansion. It was a devastating incident that occurred while his parents were away in Ibadan. Ifeanyi was three years old at the time of his untimely passing.

As Davido reflects on this painful day, the thoughts and prayers of many are with him and his family. The loss of a child is an indescribable tragedy, and it is during times like these that the support and empathy of loved ones are crucial.
