Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur served English Premier League faithful a dream game for the ages on Sunday evening in the first meeting of the Premier League ‘top 6′ sides with a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge reports Prime Business Africa.

Harry Kane grabbed the equaliser for Spurs with barely the last touch of the match through a header as a result of a late corner.

The ill-tempered London derby saw both managers, Antonio Conte (Spurs) and Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea) sent off after two bookable offences for the flashpoint at the end of the game.

Thomas Tuchel’s side were dominant for much of the match and took a first-half lead through Kalidou Koulibaly who fired home after a delicate cross into the box.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg got Spurs level with 20 minutes remaining, sparking a clash between the two benches when the first yellow cards were served by referee Anthony Taylor.

Spurs have won away at Chelsea just once in the Premier League era, and Reece James’ strike after he was teed up by Raheem Sterling put the Blues back in front again.

Just when most watching fans thought they had seen the last of the game, Kane popped up with the textbook header.
