Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enyimba on Tuesday got a tricky draw for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League as they are pitted against Libyan side Al Ahli Benghazi.
Also in the draw conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) runners up in the NPFL Super 6, Remo Stars, will face Ghana’s Medeama.

Should Enyimba win over two legs, they will take on the winner of the tie between Coton Sports(Benin) and ASEC Mimosas(Ivory Coast).
Succes over Medeama will see Remo Stars play the winner of the tie between Bo Rangers (Sierra Leone) and LISCR(Liberia).
If the Nigerian sides manage to survive the four games, they will earn a place in the group stages of the Champions League.
In the Confederations Cup, Nigeria’s representatives, Bendel Insurance and Rivers United, also found out their opponents in the preliminary rounds.
The ‘Edo Arsenal’ as Bendel Insurance are known will play ASO Chlef of Algeria. Victory over two legs will then earn them a date with top Moroccan side RS Berkane.
Rivers United were drawn by in the first round of the competition. They will play the winner of the tie between Ziguinchor and Etoile Filante.
A win for Stanley Eguma’s men would earn them a berth in the group stage of Africa’s second-tier competition.
