The Kaduna State ministerial nominee, Balarabe Abbas,  suddenly collapsed during his screening process in the Senate.l on Wednesday afternoon.

As he concluded his presentation before the lawmakers, Balarabe suddenly collapsed, sending shockwaves through the Senate chamber.

The dramatic incident unfolded just as one of the Kaduna senators was commending Balarabe’s efforts, highlighting the unpredictability of the situation.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio, displaying remarkable composure, immediately raised his voice and ordered, “Retrieve water and sugar! Dial Dr. Musa,” demonstrating swift action in response to the crisis.

Following Balarabe’s collapse, the Senate President swiftly convened a closed-door session, leaving many curious about the nature of the discussion that ensued behind closed doors.

Balarabe’s nomination held significance as he was put forward as a replacement for the former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the unfolding events.
