The weekly wager stake involves the housemate making a bet on whether the house would win their weekly wager challenge. The housemates were given 500 Moniepoint coins to place a stake, with the minimum stake of 100 moniepoint coins.

If the housemates wins their weekly wager challenge, they would have access to make their weekly shopping with only the stake made. Big Brother however let the housemates with a warning, that they were not allowed to discuss their various weekly stakes with other housemates.
