The BBNaija Level Up house has been buzzing with drama over the past few days, and host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has been at the centre of it all. Last night episode was no exception, as the show opened with Bryann expressing his reservations about Hermes’ accent. Adekunle, Doyin and Allyson’s dynamic was also talked about.

In a candid conversation, Bryann and Khalid were caught discussing Hermes’ accent, which prompted Ebuka to question Bryann about his issue with it.

Bryann defended himself, stating that his inquiry about Sheggz’s accent was merely out of curiosity, and not intended as spite.

Khalid chimed in, explaining that mentioning Hermes’ origin in Oworonshoki was not meant to throw shade but rather to highlight the commendable persona he had built despite the challenges of his background.

The focus then shifted to the dynamics between Hermes, Allyson, and Adekunle. Allyson shared her initial impression of Hermes, describing him as interesting and unique, which naturally drew her towards him.

Hermes admitted to consciously working on his accent and poise, recognizing the importance of honing these skills. However, the atmosphere shifted when Doyin confronted Adekunle about his lies and malicious behaviour towards her in the house.

Adekunle claimed that he had initially been on good terms with Doyin, but she had suddenly changed her attitude in Level 2. Allyson echoed Doyin’s sentiment, adding that she initially found Adekunle to be intelligent but also sensed a certain sneaky or deceptive quality in him.

Ebuka addressed Adekunle directly, focusing on the recurring narrative of him gossiping about others. Adekunle acknowledged that he had engaged in gossip and that it was a fair criticism, but he also pointed out that others had done the same.

Allyson chimed in, revealing that Adekunle had spoken negatively about Doyin to her, causing her to question his character. Doyin, in turn, accused Adekunle of being a habitual liar, cautioning others to verify his claims.

Adekunle attempted to defend himself by sharing an incident where he overheard Doyin and Allyson discussing him in the restroom.

According to Adekunle, Doyin had commented on his supposedly miserable appearance during a Saturday night party, insinuating that he was unhappy to see her and Hermes dancing together.

In an effort to clear the air, Adekunle addressed the perceptions that people had of him both inside and outside the house. He acknowledged that he had made mistakes but emphasized that he was willing to learn and grow from them.

As tensions continue to rise within the BBNaija Level Up house, it remains to be seen how these conflicts will be resolved. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s role as the mediator has been crucial in addressing these issues, but only time will tell if the housemates can find common ground and move forward in a more harmonious manner.
