Bayern Munich have put their foot down once again, grabbing a 2-1 home win at ‘Allianz Arena’, against Slovan Brastavalia.

An early goal from Thomas Muller, assisted by Joshua Kimmich, with a header at the back of the net, eight minutes into the match, gave Bayern an early lead against Slovan.

The German giants held possession throughout, with their smooth passing moves, causing chaos for the Slovan side. Leroy Sane and Harry Kane were both denied by impressive saves from Dominik Takac, while Slovan Bratislava struggled to create meaningful opportunities. They still managed to create a few chances, with Tigran Barseghyan forcing Manuel Neuer into a smart save.

Bayern continued their dominance, with Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane perpetrating Slovan defence. However, Slovan, with their counter strike, remained a danger.

Bayern’s pressure eventually paid off in the 63rd minute. A brilliant pass from Jamal Musiala found Harry Kane, who headed home to give Bayern the lead.

The goal urged Bayern on, and they continued to create chances. Mathys Tel and Leroy Sane came close on a couple of occasions, but Dominik Takac was equal to the task. However, against the run of play, Slovan Bratislava pulled one back in the 90th minute. A swift counter initiated by Tigran Barseghyan, resulted in Marko Tolic finding the net.

Also, the result means Munich finish the league phase on 15 points in 12th place and will contest the play-offs. They will learn the identity of their next Champions League opponents on Friday. Bayern will be back in action on Saturday when they entertain Holstein Kiel in the Bundesliga. @fcbayern.
