#AnambraDecides2021: Supplementary Election Yet To Commence

ANAMBRA Governorship Supplementary election billed to hold in Ihiala Local Government Area is yet to commence at 11:15 am.

The Supplementary election according to the Independent National Electoral Commission is supposed to start at 10 am and run through to 4 pm, but the reality on the ground in Anambra of the time of filing this report is that election materials are yet to leave the INEC office.

Though the materials are on the ground and ad-hoc staff are also on the ground yet it is not known the reason for which both the election materials and staff are yet to leave for their respective polling units

The presence of security personnel can be felt around the Ihiala local government area and this could be said to account for the resultant peace being experienced.

Ihiala LGA has 407 registered voters in 323 polling units and INEC has said it will not announce a winner until the supplementary election is concluded
