#AnambraDecides2021: APGA’s Soludo In Early Lead, Claims Five Out of 21 Local Government Areas

With the Anambra gubernatorial election expected to continue today (Sunday) after the glitches experienced on Saturday, Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), according to locally-collated results has won in five Local Government Areas out of 21 in the state.

 

The local governments where the former Central Bank governor won include Awka South, Onitsha South and Enugu Anambra East, Anaocha, and Anambra East.

 

Soludo, according to the statistics made available by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has a total of 38,413 votes from the five LGAs and he is being trailed by Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who has 14,543 votes, while Senator Andy Uba, comes a distant third with 8,145 votes.

 

Soludo’s lead in the five local government areas where he currently leads translate to a 23.81 percentage of the 21 local governments of the state.
