INEC appealed to all stakeholders, political parties, communities and candidates to remain calm and law abiding.

“We assure you that the commission is determined to make vote count”

The election ongoing in Anambra has been said to be marred largely by lateness of INEC officials to polling units and the inability of the BVAS deployed for the election.

Some voters have been disenfranchised by reason of a nonperforming or malfunctioning BVAS.

Some voters are currently still waiting at the different polling units, hopeful that the BVAS will respond and they will exercise their franchise.

However, INEC has assured to brief the media on further development in the next one hour.
