Prospective voters complained of intermitent failure of the device to carryout face recognition, and also thumbprinting of voters which are part of the accreditation process.

In Umudioka, there is reportedly issue of low voters turnout.

This might not be unconnected with issue of people obeying the no-movement order issued by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.

The IGP yesterday ordered no movement of people in, within and out of the state from 11:59 Friday night to 11:59 Saturday night to forestall any form of violence or criminality that may be perpetrated by criminal gangs during the election.
