The list of the new national awardees was published in an advertorial by the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, on Sunday, 28 May 2023.

AMCON’s congratulatory message was contained in a letter dated 14th June 2023 and signed by its Managing Director/CEO, Ahmed Lawan Kuru

“This grand honour, which is a garland bestowed only on those who display an enviable level of transparency, decorum, accountability, and dedication to national development could not have come at a better time,” Kuru noted.

The AMCON CEO further stated that the honour is another milestone in Nze Duru’s outstanding career while praying that God would continue to grant him wisdom to excel in all his assignments.

“I look forward to hear about many more of your successes,” Kuru added.

Commenting on the national honour conferred on Nze Duru, the CEO of Newstide Publications Limited, Dr Marcel Mbamalu, said it is a well-deserved one considering his significant contributions to the nation’s economy in the areas of pensions, fintech, and real estate sectors as an entrepreneur.

Duru, according to Dr Mbamalu, is a visionary and a philanthropist, who has created significant impact in people’s lives through his social-impact projects.
