Air Peace Drags Creme dela Creme Of The Society To Lagos, Despite Heavy Down Pour

Despite heavy down pour that lasted for hours and caused traffic jam in some parts of Lagos, the Centre of Excellence, on Friday, 25 October, high-flying Air peace brought shakers and movers of the society under one roof as it celebrated 10th Anniversary.

The event which was held at the Conventional Centre of Eko Hotel and Suites rolled into the night as the airline and its achievement in  a decade were x-rayed by stakeholders in the Aviation sector, Captains of industry, top government officials, traditional rulers Nollywood stars to mention just a few of various professionals that graced the occasion.

An elated founder and CEO of Air Peace Airline, Dr Allen Onyema, said the 10 year achievement is only a tip of the iceberg compared to what the airline hopes to achieve in the future.

Air Peace which started operation in 2014 with just seven aircraft now boasts of over 30 aircraft with 26 brand new ones on firm order according to the company.

Among dignitaries that graced the occasion included Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima represented by Minister of Transport, Sa’idu Ahmed Alkali, former President  Muhammadu Buhari represented by Senator Adeleke Olorunimbe Mamora, First LadyLady of Gambia, Her Excellency  Mrs. Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow, Obi of Onitsha, His Majesty Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe, Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and chairman of Coscharis Group, Dr, Cosmas Maduka CON.

Others include Chairman of Stanel Group, Stanley Uzochukwu,Vice Chairman, Air Peace Mrs Alice Onyema.  Traditional ruler of Obosi, Allen Onyema’s home town, the Igwe of Obosi, HRH Dr Greg Nwokora was not left out.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr Francisco Moraes, a member of the Board of Directors of Embraer spoke extensively on the strong relationship between the  aircraft and aviation system manufacturer and Air Peace.

Moraes revealed that the CEO of  Air Peace, desirous of giving customers the best of service and comfort, is already thinking of introducing the E175 jet to the fleet of the airline. He assured that the company as partners in progress will be there to provide all the needed support in Air Peace dream of being the Airline of first Choice.

“Along with this E175 jet we are going to provide the necessary support for establishing local maintaining capability making operations more efficient and bringing value to the Nigerian Aviation Industry” he assured.
