Guinea Bissau creative midfelder Carlos Måne is looking forward to Monday’s clash against Nigeria as both sides honour their last Group A game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire and believes that his team will give their opponents a tough game.
Speaking to the media during the team’s press conference on Sunday evening, Måne insists that despite losing two games on a row, they have a reason to aspire for a win.

“I know the Super Eagles coach (Jose Peseiro), we have worked together, he is a very good coach but we are going to give our best tomorrow.”
The Super Eagles would need to win their Monday match for a realistic chance of topping Group A and remain in Abidjan where their Round of 16 opponent will be any of the third placed teams in groups C, D or E.
Their last group match against Guinea Bissau is their 100th match since their debut in 1963.
