This development follows President Bola Tinubu’s decision to remove subsidies on petrol, leading to a surge in fuel prices, reaching N612 per litre.

Consequently, there has been a widespread increase in both the cost of living and goods and services.

Simi conveyed her anguish for Nigeria, revealing that the ongoing situation weighs heavily on her heart daily.

She wrote: “Nigeria just breaks my heart a little more every day. How are people surviving?”
