The Big Brother Naija All-Stars Show had its first real eviction show on Sunday evening after last week’s fake eviction.
Princess became the first housemate to leave after host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced she was the unfortunate one to be evicted and no longer in the running for the N120m prize money.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelPrime Business Africa presents the five takeaways form Sunday night’s eviction.
1. Lucky Ilebaye
Ilebaye was lucky not to get on the bad book of the juries after risking a disqualification following her altercation with Angel, then Ceecee whom she pulled her hairs.
Doyin who is friends with Ilebaye was even shoved by the ill-tampered housemate.
The cameras repeatedly panned on Ilebaye who apparently was relieved that she was not on the chopping block and has survived another week in the house.
2. Cee-Cee, Doyin’s ‘Wisdom’
After the eviction show and back to the house, the duo of Ceecee and Doyin displayed maturity in handling the indiscretions of Ilebaye.
Ceecee noted that anger is a dangerous thing and that was an, admonition to Ilebaye.
Doyin admitted that she was not drunk on the Saturday night party which could have lit the fire even more when her ‘friend’ overreacted.
3. Surprise Mike Edward’s Jury Duty
Don’t get it wrong: The gentleman deserves the nod.
Mike was the runner up in the 2019 Pepper Dem Gang edition.
The British-trained athlete was not enmeshed in any relationship drama with the ladies in the house.
That drew praises from observers and fans of the show – so it was a pleasure to see him on our screens.
The surprise on his presence in the house is that as one of Nigeria’s leading lights on Athletics, he is expected to be part of Nigeria’s contingent to this month’s World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary.
4. Soma’s Second Chance
Soma was nominated for a possible eviction last week Monday but luckily got an immunity from housemates which ensured that unlike the 2017 ‘See Gobe’ edition, he was not going home.
The talented musician, actor and model was distraught when his name was reeled out by Biggie.
Sunday’s eviction means that no returning housemate to the house will go home for a second time from the first (real) eviction.
5. Princess and Lack of Popularity
Princess was one of the housemates thought to be heading home in the first (fake) eviction.
However in Sunday’s real eviction, the media personality and entrepreneur was evicted, becoming the first housemate to go home.
Princess’ popularity is arguably the least of all the housemates in the outside world and that still counted for something despite the arrival of the trip of Bsiola, Mike and Dorothy as juries.
