We went scooping for the best and we present to you the 15 best places to visit in Lekki.

1. The Palms Shopping Mall

The Palms Shopping Mall is also referred to as The Palms Lekki. It is regarded as the second-largest shopping mall in Nigeria. This is one of the most amazing fun places in Lekki.

The Mall has over 60 stores and it also houses the popular Genesis Deluxe Cinema.

The mall boast of world class restaurants and Games spots.

And for those wishing to shop for family and friends, the ever popular Shoprite is right inside the complex.

2. Atican Beach Resort

The exquisite is nestled along Abraham Adesanya Road, Ajah.

This is a pristine ocean-side destination in Lekki, one of the many private beach resorts in Lagos. It offers both one-day relaxation activities and lodging.

To enjoy a splendid time at this beach, you could budget the sum of N50k to take care of your tent (if many) and for some choice foods and drinks.

The resort has a restaurant, swimming pool with a view and a great barbeque spot

Gate fee into the resort is N500 on weekdays, while it is N1000 on weekends and public holidays.

3. La Campagne Tropicana Resort

This is a very popular resort in the heart of Lekki. It has been in existence for decades but has not lost any of its attractive fervour.

The La Campagne Tropicana Resort offers a refreshing glimpse into nature’s beauty and aquatic scenery.

The resort is home to celebrity musicians who are paid to perform live on a set stage especially during festivities. It equally accommodates live bands and upcoming artistes.

It also provides a spa, massage treatment, gym with a personal trainer and a 27-hole golf course.

It is located about 15 minutes drive from the Dangote refinery in Ibeju Lekki.

4. Elegushi Beach

The Elegushi beach is a private beach owned by the Elegushi royal family in Lekki.

Situated around the Ikate area, it is always a beehive for fun seekers, especially on weekends and public holidays, receiving over 4,000 guests weekly.

Like many other beaches in this part of the world, the Elegushi beach is a lively beach for relaxation and unwinding.

It was Nigeria’s venue for the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer tournament which served as preparations for the CAF Beach Soccer tournament and the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

5. Dreamworld Africana

Dreamworld Africana is an amusement and theme park situated in Lekki, Lagos State.

Established in 2018, Dreamworld covers an area of 10 acres and re-opened to the public in 2013. The park is one of the main amusement parks in the city. The park provides many attractions to keep its visitors excited.

It’s located at First Right Turn After The 2nd Tollgate KM 20 Lekki-Ajah Expressway, Lekki Penninsula II, Lekki and closes at 7pm. It’s a 12-hour run entertainment spot.

6. Leisure Sports Paintball

Leisure Sports Paintball prides themselves as Lagos’s best paintball arena, located in the Lekki Suburbs.

The arena is one of the very first speedball arenas.

They provide an amazing adrenaline rush followed by amazing food and drinks at their resident bar and grill.

The arena is only available for private bookings. They also work on weekends between ten hours of 12 and 6pm.

7. Domino’s Pizza

This world class restaurant chain is a sure bet to make its way into our list.

8. The LENNOX

The LENNOX is a world class state-of-the-art facility which features luxurious retail shop spaces, elegant food court and restaurant, a serene relaxation spot and a great section for that corporate event.

It is located at Business Block A10, Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos.

They work between 9am – 10pm everyday of the week which includes weekends.

9. Sachs Gallery

Sachs Gallery is conceptual gallery specializing in modern and contemporary art. Sachs Gallery represent art from Nigerian artist and those around the western world.

Sachs Gallery is proudly located at No 6 Admiralty Road, Lekki Phase I, Lagos.

Inside the gallery are historical views and artifacts for students of history to behold which somewhat helps in educational activities and research programmes.

10. Lufasi Nature Park

The Lekki Urban Forest and Animal Sanctuary Initiative (LUFASI) sitting on 20 hectares of land at the Majek area along the Lekki-Epe expressway a little after the Lagos Business School is an urban forest created for people to interact with nature.

They charge 500Naira for children, and a, thousand naira for adults.

it’s open every day of the week. It is home to such endangered forest species like the “Iron Wood” tree (Lophira Alata), the Hooded Iron Wood” tree (Lophira Alata), the Hooded Vulture (Necrosyrtes Monachus) and the African Pied Hornbill (Tockus fasciatus).

11. Lekki Conservation Center

This establishment was founded in 1990 by the Nigeria Conservation Foundation and it is one of the best and most visited natural reserves in Nigeria according to findings.

It is located at the ever-busy Lekki –Epe Expressway.

The opening hours at the LCC are between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm daily. The entry fee is 1,000 Naira while you pay an additional 1,500 Naira to enjoy the canopy walk. Children and teenagers are required to pay only 200 and 300 Naira respectively.

It is an amazing place where you can see various animals ranging from mammals to reptiles. It has facilities like beach volleyball courts, treehouses, and jungle gym facilities like monkey bars.

It also has Tilapia ponds, a barbecue stand, a nature station, and a lot of floor games like chess and drafts.

The major attraction at the Lekki Conservation Center is the canopy walk, which is the longest canopy walk in Africa. Standing at over 22 feet in height, this breathtaking piece of adventure is bound to linger in your memory for a long time.

12. Peninsula Hotel

The Peninsula Hotel located at Plot 16 Plot 16, Lekki-Epe expressway is unarguably one of the most luxurious hotels in Africa.

The hotel offers great continental and foreign cuisines while the bar/lounge also comes with an assortment of choice beverages.

For those looking to work out, the Peninsula Hotel have other facilities like an outdoor pool, spa, tennis table, and a well-equipped gym for the customers’ sports needs.

It a giant 10-storey building overlooking a sea, and city layout.

13. Nike Art Gallery

The Nike Center for Art and Culture is reportedly one of the largest arts gallery in the West Africa region.

The Nike Art Gallery has a textile mesuem, a, coffee shop and of course a great art gallery that houses thousands of artworks from numerous Nigerian artists

Housed in a five-story building houses, it boasts of an art gallery, textile museum, and a coffee shop, it boasts over 8,000 collections of artworks from various Nigerian artists.

Located at No 2 Elegushi road, it is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm including weekends.

 

14. Funtopia Water Park

This is a well-known children-friendly fun place in Lekki where they can enjoy some recreational activities, swim and play.

It is located at KM 35 Lekki-Epe Expressway, opposite the Pan African University, Ibeju Lekki, which, by the way, is a good reminder to the young folks of what it means to be educated while seeking fun.

The Water Park offers both indoor and outdoor fun to the family. It is indeed the most family-friendly and fun place in Lekki.

You can decide to go water sliding, swimming, gaming or offer your kids some new educational experience. You should try to take along a swimsuit and camera to keep your fun moments there. It opens between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily, and you can access it with a gate fee of 1,000 Naira.

15. Filmhouse Imax Cinema

The cinemas are here to stay and when it comes to going to the cinemas for some good dose of action packed and romantic movies, there are few places better than the Filmhouse Imax Cinema.

Imax should be one of the first fun places in Lekki you visit in Lagos, especially if you are a fan of good movies.

It has played venue for the premiere of some Nollywood’s blockbuster jobs in recent years.

Meanwhile movie tickets for as low as 3,000 at this fun place.

There is nothing like a good movie with family and friends on a massive screen in very clear and high resolution that will blow your mind away.

Located at the Rock Drive in Lekki Phase 1, you can see movies in 2D and 3D. There is also the roof-top exclusive terrace bar and VVIP signature bar.
