President Tinubu charged security agencies to strengthen their collaboration for better results in securing the country. He equally urged them to shun inter-agency rivalry as it is counter-productive.

The National Security Adviser, Babagana Dungun, who addressed state house correspondents after the meeting, disclosed that the president will embark on a lot of reforms to strengthen the security architecture.
Munguno stated that the president mandated the security agencies to develop a new blueprint to deal with the issue of crude oil theft in oil-producing areas, noting that the changes should meet the requirements of the changing times.
Those in attendance at the meeting include the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya; the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao; and the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
Others are the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), Yusuf Bichi; and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.
