Izuchukwu OkosiAston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez, has curiously bought a £20,000 guard dog to protect his family and his 2022 FIFA World Cup medal.
Martinez was a key member of the Argentina team that defeated France to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and was awarded the Best Goalkeeper Award.

Martinez was pictured holding a doll with the face of 2018 World Cup winner, Mbappe, moments after the final of the World Cup.
The goalkeeper carried on with his indiscretion when the victorious team arrived in Buenos Aires and went round the city in an open bus parade.

The 30-year-old has now invested in a Belgian Malinois guard dog to protect his family and the new medal in his collection, the World Cup medal.
The dog which weighs 30kg has been used by the US Navy Seals in combat zones.
