1. Richarlison (Brazil) vs Serbia
At number 1 is Richarlison’s goal against Serbia in Brazil’s Group G game against the Europeans.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker swivelled and delivered a world class volley into the bottom left corner after getting on to a delightful cross into the box by Vinicius Junior.
The effervescent forward first controlled the ball with his left foot before dispatching it with the right.
2. Luis Chavez (Mexico) vs Saudi Arabia
Mexico campaigned in Group C of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and in their final group game against Saudi Arabia – who by the way shocked Argentina 2-1 in the first game of the group were awarded a free kick seven minutes into the second half.
This came at a crucial time of the game as Mexico hoped that the tie between Argentina and Poland would favour them.
Chavez stepped up to execute it with his team 1-0 up, and let fly a left footed curler that saw the ball nestle in tip right corner beyond the reach of the Saudi Arabian goalkeeper.

3. Vincent Aboubakar (Cameroon) vs Serbia
The match was a six-goal thriller. It ended 3-3 and Al Nassr striker Vincent Aboubakar came off the bench to make a spectacular impact on the game.
Before assisting Eric Choupo-Moting for Cameron’s third goal, Aboubakar produced a cheeky effort for the second of the evening.
Beating the offside trap set by the Europeans, Aboubakar bore down on goal lobbed the ball above a sprawling Serbia keeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.
The goal was initially ruled out for offside but on a VAR review, it was awarded after it was clear that Aboubakar was onside.
4. Goncalo Ramos (Portugal) vs Switzerland
Benfica’s 21 year-old forward Goncalvo Ramos scored a hat-trick in Portugal’s 6-1 mauling of Switzerland in the round of 16.
Just two seasons ago, he was a youth player at his club and was playing in the UEFA Youth Cup but his valuation went a notch higher when he scored the first of his treble.
Ramos went past Newcastle United defender Fabian Schar like a hot knife through butter and hit the ball swiftly with his left foot which sailed into the bottom left corner.
5. Kylian Mbappe (France) vs Poland
This goal in the round of 16 had in competition a certain piledrive from the captain of Saudi Arabia against almighty Argentina but we went for the beauty of this goal.
The topscorer so far at the tournament, Mbappe had one moment of magic in the game.
Mbappe exchanged passes with Marcus Thuram who returned it to him.
Mbappe waltzed through his marker before unleashing a right footed shot to the top right corner.
The Camerioonan-bprn France international has already surpassed his Russia 2018 performances.
