Soludo Appoints 10 Experts For Anambra Urban Regeneration Council

In line with his quest to revamp urban areas in Anambra, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has appointed 10 experts as members to serve in the Anambra Urban Regeneration Council.

According to a statement signed by Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to the Governor, the council is to be headed by Arc. Mike Okonkwo, former commissioner for Housing in the state, and Ven. Barrister Amaechi Okwuosa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA) as Vice Chairman.

Other appointees include Arc. (Dr) Innocent Okpanum: Member; Engr. Marcel Ifejiofor: Member; and Surveyor Lucky Ebuechukwu Ginigeme: Member.

Others are Anayo Val Ezenwa: Member; Engr. Godwin Anyaegbunam: Member; Legal Adviser to the Governor (Barr. Tochukwu Nweke): Member; Arc. Ikemefuna Chinwuba: Member; and Chief of Staff to the Governor (Ernest Ezeajughi): Secretary.

Since his assumption of office, Prof. Soludo has been stressing his administration’s focus on prioritising urban renewal to give the state a face lift and for the realization of his ‘Livable and Prosperous Anambra mega city agenda’ through housing development.

The governor has also embarked on road construction projects and has constantly been emphasisng the need for proper environmental sanitation.
