According to a release Saturday evening by the LMC, all games are billed to hold on weekends so as to accommodate inter-continental fixtures and Cup competitions in midweeks.
The NPFL general assembly of the LMC and club owners will hold on September 16 just before the season commences.
The league will go on mid-season break after week 19 matches on 27-28 January, 2023.
Inspection of stadiums and facilities for the match venues will hold from August 27 through September I, 2022.
Rivers United won the 2021/2022 NPFL season after dethroning former champions, Akwa United.
The LMC announced tentative kick-off and ending dates for 2023/2024 season with commencement date slated for 20th August, 2023 and concluding date on May 19, 2024.
