Arsenal on Monday completed the signing of Manchester City attacker Gabriel Jesus on a long-term contract until 2027 reports Prime Business Africa.
The deal saw Arsenal spend £45 Million (about N22.94 Billion) to get their man whom they have courted for several years now.

Jesus is reunited with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta who was assistant to Pep Guardiola at City before he was appointed as the Gunners’ manager back in December 2019.
“We spoke a couple of times about the club, the players, the project and the future,” he told arsenal.com.
“I believe 100 percent in Mikel. I had a very good time with him before, he’s a very good guy and a very good coach as well. He helped me a lot. We would always stick together after the training sessions and do some finishing or something,” the Brazilian stated.
Meanwhile Jesus has revealed that he will be playing as a centre-forward at Arsenal. The Brazilian international becomes the Gunners’ fourth signing of the summer following deals for Matt Turner, Fabio Vieira and Marquinhos.
The 25-year-old predominantly operated centrally during his time with Pep Guardiola’s side, although the former Barcelona boss opted to play him out wide last season, raising some doubt over what position Jesus would play under Mikel Arteta’s tutelage. However, the player has now confirmed that he will be a central striker at Arsenal.
