Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has hinted that President Muhammadu Buhari would soon be invited to Commission a new rice mill in Lagos. The governor disclosed this on Tuesday at the commissioning of the $2.5 billion Dangote fertiliser plant at Lekki-Ibeju in Lagos State.
Eminent personalities,including Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), captains of industry and diplomats were present at the grand opening of the Dangote Fertiliser plant, reports Prime Business Africa.
The plant occupies 500 hectares of land in Lekki Free Trade Zone and is Africa’s largest Granulated Urea Fertiliser complex and can produce 3 million metric tonnes per annum of urea fertiliser in its Phase 1.
Buhari also commissioned a terminal at the Lagos airport.
