Ahead of the World Cup qualifying clash against Nigeria, Rwanda Football Federation ((FERWAFA) has flagged off ticket sales for the March 21 showdown billed for the ever popular Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
Tickets sales we gather began on last week, is continuing with prices reportedly ranging from 1,000 Rwandan Francs to 1,000,000 Rwandan Franc.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelRwanda currently lead the group with seven points with mind set on consolidating their hold at the top of the log.
The Eagles will not only be playing against the Amavubi or Wasp at the Amahoro Stadium but will equally face vociferous Rwandan supporters whose intermittent shouts of ‘Amavubi O ye, O ye” is usually thunderous while serving as a ginger for the boys to fight to the finish.
As customary when the Wasps are playing important matches at the stadium, big banners will be hung at strategic spots leading to the stadium in what looks like a semi carnival.
The Eagles must dig deep to earn point or points in Kigali

A win for Rwanda will see the Group C leaders further consolidate on their grip at the top even with their privileged advantage of having back-to-back home games with the possibility of claiming six points.
Victor Osimhen, who will be leading Coach Eric Chelle’s attack in the double header qualifiers, has in the meantime, challenged his teammates to be ready to fight hard for the points to improve the team’s standing in the race for world cup ticket.
During a recent chat on Obi One Podcast, Osimhen who has so far scored 23 goals for Super Eagles in 39 appearances revealed that Chelle is eager to achieve result judging from the conversation they had when he called him alongside his assistant.

He (Chelle) said ‘I want to guys to come hand-in-hand with me to achieve amazing things for Nigeria.
“’You guys have the quality to achieve this, but the one who doesn’t fight for every ball, the one who doesn’t run for every ball, will not play’. “He was really clear with me.”
Osimhen continued: “He said he can be a father, an uncle, a big brother to everyone, but on the pitch this is business.
“’I might scream at you guys, don’t take it badly.
“’You Victor, Ekong and the rest come hand-in-hand with me, if the players see you guys running so crazy, they will do it also. It starts from you guys. “I totally agree with him.”
Meanwhile despite failing to make the final 23-man party for the double header qualifiers, Sevilla Winger Chidera Ejuke, is optimistic Super Eagles will earn fruitful result against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
In a recent interview with Lacolina de Nervion, Ejuke emphasised his belief in the depth and quality of talent within the Nigerian squad, saying “Nigeria is rich in football talent, and I trust that the coach’s selections are made with great care and purpose.
“If I were given the chance to don the national jersey again, I would embrace the opportunity with immense pride. I’m rooting for the boys to excel, and I will definitely be cheering them on from afar. I am optimistic that they will achieve victory in both matches.”
Rwanda coach Adel Amrouche had earlier named a mix of experienced, home and foreign based players for the much anticipated clash.
