A young Galatasaray fan had his day made after his battle with security just to reach Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen paid off.

As the security men whisked away the young fans, they were heard shouting, Osimhem, Osimhen prompting the former Lille star to ask the security operatives to leave them. They quickly rushed to him for a hug with the eldest of the fans demanding to have Osimhen’s shirt, which he quickly removed and gave to the excited fan.

In a video posted on the social media platform Facebook, Osimhen was seen making the day of thrilled young Galatasaray supporters after his team’s  4-0 victory over Antalyaspor, in  a match he delivered a hat-trick.

Speaking after the match, Osimhen, whose current form is a plus for Super Eagles Coach, Eric Chelle, as he prepares for double header World Cup qualifier against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, attributed his success to the strong bond within the team.

“A big congratulations to the team and our fans—we deserved this win and did a great job,” he enthused.

Osimhen’s recent hat-trick has fired him to the top of the Turkish Super Lig scorer’s chart with 20 goals, overtaking former leader Krzysztof Piatek (18). The victory also helped Galatasaray open a 10-point gap ahead of Fenerbahce, who have played two games fewer.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s desire to have Osimhen at the Old Trafford, is still in the pipeline as the Ruben Amorin led side in search of a prolific striker have made the Nigerian international their number one target in the summer transfer window.

Man United, are however not the only ones with eyes on Osimhen, as Chelsea and Arsenal are on the verge of renewing interest.

With Chelsea and Arsenal both holding an interest in the striker, there is a danger that the Red Devils will miss out on the 26-year-old, yet their Premier League rivals are primarily targeting other alternatives.

A threat also comes from Juventus, and though Napoli are not keen to sell to the Turin giants, the Bianconeri are seeking an upgrade on Dusan Vlahovic, who has struggled to impress under the guidance of Thiago Motta this season.

Juventus will only move for Osimhen under one condition: that they qualify for the Champions League next season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Man Utd, then, will be hopeful that one of their leading rivals to sign the No.9 is effectively knocked out of the running by finishing outside of the top four in Serie A.

Osimhen, meanwhile, is virtually certain to move in the summer after a failed transfer a year ago.

Chelsea and PSG came close to landing the striker, whose €12 million-per-year wage demands saw a move to Stamford Bridge break down. A deal could not click with PSG because Napoli wanted a transfer fee in the region of €120 million.
