Makinde highlighted Oyo State’s success in leveraging agribusiness to expand its economy, create import substitution, and generate foreign exchange. He showcased the Fashola Agribusiness Industrial Hub project as a game-changer, attracting interest from other sub-nationals in Nigeria and African countries.

The governor’s call to action is significant, as it underscores the need for sub-nationals to take an active role in implementing policies that drive economic growth and integration. By sharing Oyo State’s success stories, Makinde aims to inspire other sub-nationals to explore similar opportunities and collaborate towards a more prosperous Africa.
