Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has announced plans to name his next son after the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America Donald Trump.
In an Instagram post, Yul Edochie shared a photo of Donald Trump, describing him as the “leader of the Stubborn Boys Association.”

“Official portrait of my man for life, the incoming president of America. Leader of the Stubborn Boys association. President Donald Trump. You already know I’m naming my next son TRUMP,” he wrote.
Yul Edochie himself was named after Russian actor Yul Brynner.

The 43 year old actor who has featured in many movies including Poor Billionaire, ATM Machine, Ojuju Calabar and Agony of A Princess among others, is equally a die-hard fan of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It is not yet known whether the former gubernatorial candidate of the Democratic Peoples Congress political party in the 2017 Anambra election that was eventually won by Willie Obiano, has plans to also have a son that will be named after the Nigerian President.
Trump who was in office for his first term as US President between January 20, 2017 – January 20, 2021, is beginning his second term today hinting that it will not be business as usual in God’s Own Country. One of the things he has promised to do is to halt all new foreign aid unless it fits with U.S. strategic goals.
The aim according to the returnee President is to prevent American taxpayers’ cash falling into the hands of groups working against the U.S.
Recall that Edochie in his usual controversial element recently advocated the use of deities for swearing in of elected officials in Nigeria as a better way of fighting corruption in the country.
One of his submissions over fight against corruption, Edochie said on X, “I have said before and I will say it again, If we want to end corruption in Nigeria, let every public office holder swear their oath of office before the deity in their village or any other powerful deity.
