Interestingly, Barron, who was mostly kept from view as a youngster during Trump’s first term, is now an 18-year old New York University (NYU) student.

Trump’s Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, is already at her job as she informed on X ”

‘The President and First Lady are leaving Mar-a-Lago now for Washington, DC, on a great journey of success for our country! adding an emoji of US flag.

She had earlier assured that “President Trump and his administration are going to deliver on the promises that he made,”

While plans for the inauguration are ongoing, after inauguration activities are also being planned pari-pasu.

Trump is set to host fireworks at his Virginia golf club. There is also a cabinet reception and a dinner for Vice President J.D. Vance.

Trump’s team is reportedly scrambling to organise a version of his parade inside D.C.’s Capitol One arena on Monday in lieu of the outdoor event.

Meanwhile, Trump has launched his own cryptocurrency, which quickly soared in market capitalisation to several billion dollars.

His release of the meme coin, $Trump, comes as he prepares to take office on Monday as the 47th president of the US.

The venture was co-ordinated by CIC Digital LLC – an affiliate of the Trump Organisation – which has previously sold Trump-branded shoes and fragrances.

Meme coins are used to build popularity for a viral Internet trend or movement, but they lack intrinsic value and are extremely volatile investments. It was reported that by Saturday afternoon, hours after its launch, the market capitalisation for $Trump reached nearly $5.5bn (£4.5bn), according to CoinMarketCap.com.
