Leading Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has distanced itself from a fake website operated by fraudsters with the aim of defrauding unsuspecting customers. The airline advised the public not to lose money to fraudsters by engaging with such a platform.
In a statement released on Monday and signed by Air Peace Head of Corporate Communications, Ejike Ndiulo, the airline said its attention has been drawn to a fraudulent web address www.airpeace.aggu.cc, impersonating the Air Peace mobile booking application.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelNdiulo said: “This fake platform redirects unsuspecting customers to a WhatsApp chat with an impersonator posing as Air Peace personnel.
“The fraudster provides fake account details for ticket payment, aiming to exploit unsuspecting members of the public.”

Air Peace urged members of the public to disregard any information coming from the fake website and social media platforms.
“We strongly dissociate the Air Peace brand from this fraudulent site and urge the public to not engage with it.
“Please ensure you only use our official platforms for bookings and payments,” the statement added.
