Izuchukwu OkosiThe finals in the Anambra Academicals Cup organised by the Anambra State Sports Development Commission will hold today (Tuesday, 28 December 2021) across all categories at the New Ultra Modern Awka City Stadium, Awka.
The competition which is being organised with the aim of discovering more football stars for the state and country in general will have four finals after a hard fought round Robin format.
In the final of the U-13 tournament, Community Primary School, Orsumenyi will play against Eri Primary School, Aguleri at 10am while Community Secondary School, Isuofia face Christ Redeemer College, Amesi at 12 noon. .
In the Teri Cup (for Tertiary Institutions), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka will face off against Federal Polytechnic, Oko at 2pm
The day’s action will round off with the U-17 men’s team battling for supremacy as Aguata High School, Aguata and Saint Francis Memorial Secondary School, Aguleri play at 4pm.
