Nigerian film maker, actress and director, Funke Akindele has added another portfolio to her collections, venturing into real estate ownership.
Akindele of the Jenifa fame revealed the plan on social media, adding that it has been her long time dream to own an estate, where according to her, makes “dreams come true.”

In a video backed submission via Funke Akindele @funkeakindele she said “I’m excited to share a transformative chapter of my life! After years of hard work, I’ve turned my dream of owning a real estate development with world class infrastructure into reality. From the drainage system, the tarred roads, top notch security and uninterrupted power supply, beautified by flowers and pools in every home.
“I proudly present Jenifa Gardens, a place where dreams come true. This real estate venture embodies the belief that everyone deserves a home that reflects their style and personality.” The said estate is located just two minutes from the coastal road, opposite NNPC Filling Station, Eleko, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
She did not stop there as she called on investors to join her in building what she called a “Community of Dreamers and achievers”
A look at the price tag reveals that plots ranging from 300 sqm to 450 sqm, go for N30 million, N37 million, N45 million and N55 million.

Akindele was nominated as the Lagos deputy governorship candidate under the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 elections, it will be recalled also established a non-governmental organisation known as the Jenifa Foundation, which aims at providing young people with vocational skills.
Jenifer Akindele will be toeing the footsteps of Nollywood star and one of the greats of the industry, Genevieve Nnaji, who reportedly owns an estate in Abuja the Federal Capital territory.
Genevieve Nnaji who is one of the highest paid and most sought after actress in the industry had in the past posted the achievement on her instagram following the completion of the estate with her teeming fans sending congratulatory messages.
