It was a case of soldier go soldier come for Nelita the housemate duo of Nelly and Anita as the stepped in as Heads of House for week 3 early today.
The duo secured the spot thanks to votes from fellow housemates including Aces, Wanni x Handi, Streeze, Beta, Chekas, Doublekay, Shatoria, and the Mbadiwe Twins.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelThe pair were chosen as the HoH in a ballot that started in the early hours of Monday, August 12. Nelita earned the highest votes, making them the new Heads of House for week 3.
Their new found position means they will be in a position to make key decisions in the house this week. The funny aspect of the HoH position however is that it does not immune them from eviction, just as it did not stop Ndi Nne who were sent packing on Sunday from exiting the Big Brother house becoming the second pair to exit the BBH in two weeks.

The Nelitas may be enjoying all the buga that comes with their new position as HoH, but it is actually twin pair of Wanni and Handi that have immunity against next eviction after winning week 3 Custodian challenge.
As the new custodians, WannixHandi takes over from Streeze, who held the power last week and made the difficult decision to evict Ndi Nne.
Other housemates may as well seek to be in the good books of WannixHandi as they are sure to be influential in who leaves the house next.
The exit of Ndi Nne who were HoH when they were shipped out, further underscores one of the major twists in Season 9 where emergence as Head of House does not come with immunity from eviction.
Meanwhile, Chinwe who had been singing lamentation songs over her decision to enter the Big Brother House with reality TV partner Zion made sudden U-turn and retracted her submission while responding to show host Ebuka.
Chinwe who had given the impression that partnering with Zion amounts to a disadvantage and even alleging that she paid for both of their entries into the show, denied making the claims saying she only meant she encourage Zion to participate as he was initially foot-dragging.
Chinwe had expected support her when she had a conflict with fellow housemates Onyeka and Chizoba which never happened.
More twists and conflicts are sure to prop up and will put to the test Chinwe’s recommitment to Zion in a matter of time.
