Revealed: 13 Million Meals To Be Served At Paris Olympics

Thirteen Million Meals will be served at the Paris Olympics which runs from July 26th to August 11 it has been revealed. In viral video showcasing the Olympic Village, organisers revealed that the village has been constructed with re-cycled materials with energy coming from solar and other renewable energy sources in the village.

16,000 beds meant for athletes have also been constructed with recycled cardboard materials with the beds to be donated to the military after the Olympics.

The Olympic village Prime Business Africa further gathered will be converted into business and residential district providing places of work, affordable housing , Supermarkets, Green Spaces and even two schools for the neighbourhood.

The video concludes that this is one way the Olympics leaves lasting memory in the minds of people in the villages towns and cities.

The centerpiece of the sprawling Olympic Village, once a power plant and then a film studio, is a network of six restaurants that will serve athletes around the clock.

At the end of a grand runway lined with flags from every delegation stands the 46,000-square-foot restaurant complex, with towering ceilings and imposing windows overlooking the Seine.

But inside, it looks a lot like a college cafeteria. There are cereal dispensers, soda fountains and buffets among red floor tiles and kitschy decorations, like a colourful installation of pipes adorned with graffiti and cartoon eyes.

No fewer than 10,500 athletes will be featuring in this year’s Olympics representing 203 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and competing 32 sports in 329 events.

Women Football Event Begins Today

Although the opening ceremony is billed for Friday July 25, the men’s football event kicked off Wednesday while the Women football events kick off today July 25.

Twelve countries qualified for the women football event of the Paris 2024 Olympics and will compete in three groups as follows, with Canada as defending Champions:

Group A: France, Colombia, Canada, New Zealand.

Group B: United States, Zambia, Germany, Australia.

Group C: Spain, Japan, Nigeria, Brazil.
