After realising his dream of joining his childhood club Real Madrid, France international and former PSG star Kylian Mbappe has flagged off another dream, that of winning the prestigious Ballon d’Or with his new club.

He bared his mind after his official unveiling Tuesday at the Bernabeau in front of teeming club supporters.
When queried about the potential impact of his move to Real Madrid on his aspirations of winning the UEFA Champions League and the Ballon d’Or, the 25-year-old responded: “There is no better place than Madrid to win titles. But the key is to adapt well. If I do that, the rest will come naturally.
“Winning everything is an objective, but in the long term. Now I want to get back to training and adapt to the team.”
Mbappe was not the only one that realised his dream following his sealing of five-year contract with Madrid and his eventual unveiling Tuesday, the 15 Champions league winners also realised theirs having held a deep admiration for one of the most renowned talents in world football and finally having him in their fold.
The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez believes that the club’s new signing, Kylian Mbappe will never forget 2012, a year he had the opportunity to tour the club’s training facility in Valdebebas.

During his unveiling Real Madrid president, Perez reminded him of his visit to the club in 2012. In the said year, the then coach of the club, Zinedine Zidane invited Mbappe to the club’s training facility.
During the said period, Mbappe was just 12-year-old with the big dream of playing for the Spanish giants. Even though he couldn’t sign a contract to join the club’s academy during the visit, he was able to take a picture with his football idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I know you will never forget that day in 2012 when Zidane invited you to Valdebebas,” Perez said.
“I want you to know that this love you have for Real Madrid gave you the strength to overcome all the obstacles.
“Today you are here because you wanted this.
“You will now wear the white shirt, the shirt of the 15 Champions League.“You won a World Cup at 18!“Last season was your best season in terms of goals! “Thank you, Kylian for being here.”
