Donald Trump Rally Interrupted by Gunshots
On Saturday, during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump was rushed off the stage by the Secret Service after what sounded like gunshots.
The quick response from law enforcement ensured the safety of the former president.

Anthony Guglielmi, the US Secret Service chief of communications, confirmed the incident. “An incident occurred the evening of July 13 at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania.
The Secret Service has implemented protective measures and the former President is safe. This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available,” Guglielmi stated.
Spokesperson of Donald Trump Assurance
Donald Trump’s spokesperson, Steven Cheung, reassured the public about Trump’s well-being.

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow,” Cheung said.
Eyewitness Reports
According to CNN, pool reporters present at the rally reported hearing “a series of loud explosions or loud bangs” before Secret Service agents moved toward Donald Trump.
“The Secret Service went and immediately covered President Trump,” the pool report noted. “Pool heard residual bangs afterward. Agents grabbed Trump, who was seen waving his fists in the air,” it added.

The Secret Service is currently investigating the incident. More details are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
