Video: Heavy Rain Causes Flooding, Traffic Gridlock In Parts Of Lagos

Heavy rain on Wednesday morning has caused flooding in different parts of Lagos.

The Iyan-Oworo, Olopo Meji areas leading to the 3rd Mainland Bridge were totally flooded causing heavy traffic gridlock. The traffic congestion extended to Alapere area.

Videos taken by commuters showed some vehicles plying the road partly submerged by water.

 

Also, the road leading to Murtala Muhammed International Airport was flooded, making it difficult for commuters to use the road.
