The All Progressives Congress  (APC) says it celebrates with Muslim Ummah on the joyous occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir 2024.

According to a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, released on Sunday, 16th June, 2024 via the party’s X handle, it said the event calls for a sober reflection on the lessons of sacrifice, humility and obedience among others.

“This celebration calls for deep thought and reflections on the lessons of devotion, sacrifice, selflessness, humility, and obedience as exemplified by the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son, Ismail, for the love of Allah,” the statement read in part.

Therefore, APC urged the Muslim Ummah to imbibe the lessons of the important celebration and support the less privileged around them as the occasion teaches love, sacrifice, honesty, generosity, and above all, the fear of God.
