The win, cements the top spot for the coal Cit boys, with their final game of the season against already relegated Gombe United almost inconsequential. Rangers first won the league in 1974, followed by that of 1975, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1984, 2016, and now, 2024.
Aside from the CAF Champions league title, Rangers will also pocket N150 million for winning the league.
The second slot for the CAF Champions League will be decided between Enyimba and Remo Stars in the final match of the season. Enyimba will tackle Plateau United, while Remo Stars will slug it out against Kastina United. Remo stars are currently second on the log with 62 points, while Enyimba are third with 60 points.
