Nasarawa United, who topped Northern Conference and Beyond Limits who topped the Southern Conference, will on Friday, June 14, lock horns to determine the overall champion of Nigeria National League this year.

Beyond Limits are interestingly, the Academy side of Remo Stars, who are already in the elite division and currently in the second position on the log, implying that Remo Stars will have two teams in the elite division next season.

Meanwhile, Rangers International maintained their position at the top of the league table, despite losing by a lone goal to Shooting Stars, at the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan Wednesday. Although the homers went away with a lone goal victory and three points, there is however a trending clip of what should have been a penalty for the visitors, after a goal bound move was scuttled, when a Rangers players was cut down within the box.

Enyimba, were however, edged out of the second position by Remo Stars after they settled for a 1-1 draw with Bayelsa United on Wednesday.

The battle at the top is  becoming stiffer with table toppers, Rangers, on 64 points, Remo Stars on 62, Enyimba on 60 and Shooting Stars on 59.

Doma United, Heartland and Gombe United continue to swim in relegation waters, leading from the rear in the 18th, 19th and 20th positions on the log.

These three teams are good as relegated already. As if adding insult to injuries, Heartland were thrashed 4-1 by Remo Stars yesterday, just as Gombe United were beaten 3-1, by Abia Warriors.
