Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, has called on the people of Rivers State to give their full support to the state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
In a post on his X handle, Otti, who was in Rivers State yesterday for the commissioning of Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo 10.98km road, commended Fubara for his leadership skills which he described as “exemplary.”

“I am deeply enamoured and honoured by the recognition from my esteemed colleague to commission this road project. Governor Fubara’s leadership in embarking on this vital infrastructure project is commendable. His dedication to the welfare of the Eleme people and the development of Rivers State is exemplary.”

He further urged the people of the state to continue to support the Governor, adding that the project marks the beginning of more to come. “To the people of Rivers State, what you witness today (Tuesday) is just the beginning. This is a ‘dress rehearsal’ of democracy’s dividends that will pave the way for even greater achievements. I urge you all to continue supporting Governor Fubara as he strives to serve you with unwavering dedication.”
Governor Fubara on his part, thanked the Abia State Governor for honoring his invitation. “It was a privilege having my brother and Special Guest of Honour, Dr. Alex Otti, Governor of Abia State perform the commissioning of Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo road as we commenced activities to mark our one year in office.”

In a post on his X handle, the Rivers State governor described the road construction project as a significant one because it happens to be a community that is important in his life’s journey and “serves as an alternate road to commuters.”
He stated that the contract sum for the road has been fully paid to the contractor, adding that it is a further proof to the people of Rivers State that his government would remain focused and committed in serving the people.
