Arsenal Survives Tottenham Hotspur Scare In North London Derby

Arsenal survived a second half scare from north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in Super Sunday’s North London as they remain on top of the Premier League table, reports Prime Business Africa.

The Gunners led 3-0 at haft time but allowed Spurs to get two second half goals after a combination of goalkeeping error and sloppy defending.

The first goal of the game arrived in the 15th monitor through a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal from a Bukayo Saka corner kick.

The English international of Nigerian descent doubled the lead in the 27th minute.

Martin Ordegaard was impeded just before the away side had the ball inside the Spurs net through defender Micky vem de Ven.

Kai Havertz deliv1ered a perfect header from another Saka corner kick but goalkeeper David Raya gifted the opponents an easy goal with a clumsy kick that Christian Romero coolly dispatched to the bottom right corner.

Arne Postecoglu men were soon awarded a penalty and Hueng-min Son scored from 12 yard.

Arsenal had kept six clean sheets prior to the game but could not make it seven clean sheets since the 2008/2029 season.
