This was contained in a letter of appreciation jointly signed by the Principal of the College, Duncan Gowen and the Head, Boarding/Director of Enrichment, Modupe Agbonlahor, dated Monday 11th March, 2024.

“Your presence at the Sports Day event brought an added level of enthusiasm and encouragement to our participants. Your willingness to engage with our community, with your inspiring and motivational speech, cheering on the athletes, and supporting our cause created a positive and inclusive atmosphere that was truly inspiring. There was a lovely community feel to the whole day helped in no small way by your presence at the event,” the letter read.
Nze Duru featured as the Chairman on the occasion of the Waterman College Sports Day event held on Saturday, 9th March, 2024.
The erudite business magnate delivered a speech titled: “Harmony in Excellence: Inspiring Academics Through the Spirit of Sportsmanship.”
