Born on May 15, 1950, into the esteemed family of Late Chief Abdulsalam Aderemi and Late Madam Aisha Aderemi, in the Jagun-Olukosi compound in Ede, Osun State, Olofa Ina’s journey in the spotlight began during the reign of the Late Oba John Adetoyese Laoye, the then Timi of Ede Land.

In 1972, he founded the Olofa Ina Theatre Group, a groundbreaking initiative that paved the way for the staging of epical histories of Yoruba Warlords.

Collaborating with notable figures such as Erinfolamin, Dasofunjo, Gbolagade Akinpelu, and the late Oyetunji of Esinnla, he left an indelible mark on Yoruba entertainment.
