Head Coach of Nigeria’s U-20 women’s football national team, Christopher Musa Danjuma has invited 24 players to camp for next month’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiying fixture against U-20 .
According to information revealed by the media department of the Nigeria Football Federation on Wednesday through the Director of Communications, Demola Olajire, regulars in the team like Taiwo Afolabi, Anderlin Mgbechi, Jumoke Alani, Faith Omilana, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu, Chioma Olise, and forwards Opeyemi Ajakaye, Oluwayemisi Samuel and Janet Akekoromowei made the cut among others.

Nigeria’s opponents, Burundi will host the first leg of the fixture in Bujumbura within the weekend of 12th – 14th January, with the return leg at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, 20th January.
The winner of the fixture will reach the last round of the qualification series, with those matches to be played in the month of March 2024.
