The Barcelona Femine star won the prize in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023.

Oshoala was also one of three Super Falcons players who made the cut for the African Team of the Year along with Mitchelle Alozie and Osinachi Ohale.

The 27-year-old star played a key role in Barcelona Femeni’s UEFA Women’s Champions League success last season and becomes the first woman to achieve the feat.

Oshoala made a passionate appeal to the African federations to unite, support each other and possibly win the FIFA World Cup in the men and women tournaments.
