Actress Keke Palmer and her ex-partner, Darius Jackson, have jointly agreed to delay their scheduled court hearing for a temporary restraining order to allow time for mediation.
The former couple, who share a 9-month-old son named Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, had a court date set for December 5.

The court granted her request, setting strict orders for Jackson to stay more than 100 yards away from Palmer and their child.
In recent court filings, both Palmer and Jackson expressed their willingness to reschedule the court date, citing the need for mediation.

Originally scheduled for November 29, the court-ordered mediation aims to facilitate communication and resolution between the parties involved.
The court documents obtained by ‘People’ reveal that both parties have agreed to uphold the terms outlined in the temporary restraining order until the rescheduled hearing takes place.
This agreement ensures the continued enforcement of safety measures for Palmer and her son. Palmer’s original filing detailed an alleged incident on November 5, where Jackson purportedly trespassed into her home, threatened her, and physically attacked her.

Images from security footage were included in the filing as evidence. The actress claimed the abuse occurred over a two-year period, with her mother and sister as witnesses.
Despite efforts to maintain an amicable split and custody arrangement, Palmer took legal action to prioritize her safety and that of her child.
A source revealed that she had given Jackson numerous chances to rectify the situation before resorting to legal measures.
