Nigerian Ambassador To Morocco Passes On

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco, Mansur Nuhu Bamalli has passed away.

This was made known in a statement via Twitter by the  Zazzau Emirate in Kaduna announced on Friday, October 20, 2023.

According to the announcement, the Ambassador who was also known as Magajin Garin Zazzau, died at a private hospital in Abuja, while on his way to Morocco.

It also said that plans for the funeral arrangements would be communicated to the public later.

“On a sad note, We announce the death of Ambassador MANSUR NUHU BAMALLI, Magajin Garin Zazzau.

“Ambassador Mansur passed away this morning at Dorches Hospital, Abuja while on transit to Morocco.

“Funeral arrangement will be communicated later.”

Bamalli was 42 years old when he passed on and the cause of his death has not been ascertained.

The deceased was a Prince of the Zazzau Emirate in Kaduna State and was appointed the Nigerian Ambassador to Morrocco by former President, Muhammadu Buhari in 2022. He was also the biological younger brother to the Emir of Zazzau, in Kaduna.

Before his appointment as an Ambassador, he had served as the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is survived by his wife and two children.
