What Are The Requirements For Checking NECO Results?
Before you think of checking your NECO results, you must ensure that the needed requirements are ready.
These requirements are the information and materials for obtaining your result on the NECO official portal. They are;
Exam year
Exam type
Registration number
Token
Examination Year
This is the exact year that you sat for the NECO examination. If you can not remember the exam year, you can either check your examination ID card or head to the centre or school where you wrote the examination.
Examination Type
NECO is not only for Secondary School Certificate Examination. They also conduct Basic Education Certificate Examination and even National Common Entrance Examination. The SSCE can also be internal or external. However, in this case, you have to choose SSCE Internal.
Registration Number
Another necessary requirement is your registration number. This number is assigned to you upon successful registration for the NECO examination.
Token
The last requirement on our list is the NECO token. Literally, one may think that the NECO token is a payment made. No, that is far from it. As we use scratch cards to check WAEC results, we also use them to check NECO results.
The only difference is that that of NECO is called TOKEN. You need to purchase this card before you proceed with checking your NECO results, and in addition, this token has a usage limit of five (5).
What Is The Cost Of Buying A Token?
The price of the token is N625. However, it is advisable to have at least N1,500 with you as the price may inflate or increase with different locations.
